Since moving to this beautiful region in 2021, I’ve realized how much Hickory and the surrounding areas like Boone, Asheville, and Blowing Rock are bursting with incredible activities, vibrant events, and outdoor adventures. My family and I moved to the area in 2021 from the coast of North Carolina, drawn by the beautiful landscapes and a love for the outdoors. We’ve made our home on a 6-acre property between Lenoir, Morganton, and Hickory, surrounded by a menagerie of plants and animals. Exploring this region has become my passion, and I love sharing what I find with others.
